USA A Collectors dirty plumpers CD Overall I found this dirty plumpers to be a valuable addition to my collection dirty plumpers of original 1950s & `60s UK hit single recordings. The only reservations I have is that "Let`s Twist Again" does not have the drive and enthuiasm demonstrated on the other tracks or the original vinyl single. I still believe it is a copy of the original with the apparent differnce being in the re-mastering. The Chubby Checker installment in the Cameo Parkway series, an excellent string of discs highlighting the label's artists from the late 1950s and '60s, will disappoint neither long-time fans nor those looking for a compilation of Chubby's biggest hits. Naturally, "The Twist" is here, as are all of the singer's follow-up cash-ins ("Let's Twist Again;" "Slow Twistin,'" etc.), and a host of other dance-craze songs ("The Hucklebuck;" "Limbo Rock," "The Fly").
